Phil moved to Singapore to launch the APAC operations in April 2014. Before joining Unruly, Phil held various roles within agencies, broadcasters and video ad technology start-ups. A digital ‘early adopter’, he moved from TV into digital marketing in 1999 and remembers his then boss at Carat telling him that ‘internet advertising will never take off’! He passionately believes that engaging branded content/ storytelling and non-invasive ad delivery will be key to preserving the future of the ad funded ‘free internet’.
