Tobias Wilson and Sanchit Sanga to lead 2017 IAB Singapore Board

Singapore, February 13th, 2017 – The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Singapore has announced its 2017 Chairman and Vice-Chair, following the inaugural meeting of its newly elected Board on February 9.

Tobias Wilson, CEO of Asia Pacific Digital (APD) Singapore has been re-elected as Chairman, having risen through the ranks from Board Member in 2014 to Vice-Chair in 2015 and Chairman in 2016. Sanchit Sanga, Chief Digital Officer of Mindshare APAC, has been elected as Vice-Chair. 

The duo will be tasked with supporting IAB Singapore’s CEO & Ambassador to SEA, Miranda Dimopoulos in driving the industry body’s mission in being the catalyst in growing investment in digital advertising. 

“I am beyond delighted to be able to work with Tobias [Wilson] for another year, continuing the great momentum that we have built up over the last few years,” said Dimopoulos. “Having Sanchit [Sanga] as our Vice-Chair is also another fantastic development as he brings not just fresh perspective to table but also a deep understanding of the region’s digital ecosystem.”

Wilson predicts another banner year for IAB Singapore, with ambitious plans across its research and education pillars. The organisation recently released its Ad Spend Report for the region, and has plans to expand its portfolio of activities regionally.

“I am humbled to be re-elected as IAB Singapore Chairman for another year,” he said. “There is still much to do to get the digital industry to where it needs to be and I’m excited to continue to do my part.” 

A new face on the IAB Singapore Board, Sanga will be serving as both Board Member and Vice-Chair for the first time this year.

“I’d like to thank the IAB Singapore Board Members for putting their trust in me,” he said. “The organisation has made outstanding contributions to the growth of the digital industry and I intend to help accelerate this current upward trajectory.”
